Standard Glass Lining Technology Pvt. Ltd. (SGL) which is a part of the Standard Group specialise in providing solutions for many glass-lined applications. SGL is one of only a few companies who manufacture glass lined solutions for critical equipment such as Reactors.

Reactors are usually made from varying grades of stainless steel. The Standard Group can provide reactors manufactured from stainless steel grades however there are many benefits from glass lined technology using either carbon or stainless base materials with Glass (or enamel) surfaces in contact with the processed product.

Glass Lined Reactors

Glass Lined reactors are primarily used for carrying out critical chemical processes where corrosion resistance and chemical inertness are of critical importance.

Steel reactors, whilst very important in the industry, have many drawbacks compared to the glass lined options.

Our AE type reactors consist of two major parts i.e. the vessel and a cover which are manufactured as per DIN 28136 standard. We also supply CE reactors based on customer requirements.

Manufacture of our Glass lined products involves 3 key stages:

  1. Glass Manufacture.
  2. Steel Fabrication.
  3. Combing the 2 elements.

All these 3 processes are carried out at our 100,000sqft facility in India which is currently expanding with a further 200,000 facility due to huge demand.
